A 958 mm silver mustard pot, the openwork shaft depicting barques and boats passing under the arches of a bridge, and carriages and pedestrians passing above, surmounted by a leafy garland, resting on a tripod base with lion paws. The lid has a gadrooned motif and a frieze of pearls. Paris charge and discharge marks (1781-1789). Goldsmith's hallmark XVIII illegible. Swearer's hallmark with crowned P. Parisian work 1781-1789. Weight : 84,81 g. (A figure, a head and part of a garland are missing, slight knocks).
