Monumental park sculpture of a red deer Cast iron; light grey cast stone base. Naturalistic, lively depiction of a capital six-toed deer in a gracefully striding pose on a flat, irregular plinth. The stag has its left front hoof raised and its head stretched far back, giving the entire figure a diagonal, dynamic tension. Rectangular plinth with protruding, moulded base and top plate, the sides with fluting. Total height 178 cm. A very large English cast iron garden figure of a stag. Stone cast base. England.
