Reunion of the first illustrated editions of these two works, collections of short stories that were successful when published in 1922 and 1923 respectively. Ouvert la nuit is illustrated with 6 watercolours reproduced in stencil by Raoul Dufy, André Favory, Roger de La Fresnaye, André Lhote, Luc-Albert Moreau and André Dunoyer de Segonzac. Fermé la nuit is decorated with 5 original etchings and 36 reproductions of pen-and-ink drawings by Jules Pascin. Limited and numbered editions, 320 copies and 407 copies respectively.
