Signature engraved on the side 'Morisot'. Maison Morisot, located at 76 rue de Turenne in Paris, was specialised in the manufacture of fireplace accessories (especially andirons and spark guards). It exhibited from 1855 to 1889 and won several medals at the Universal Exhibitions.
