En effet, elle est propulsée par le fabuleux V8 qui équipait la Ferrari 355, développant environ 400 ch. Avec une boîte de vitesse à 5 rapports provenant également de la 355 et un poids sans doute sous la tonne, cette auto est une véritable machine à sensations. Monté longitudinalement, le bloc à 40 soupapes est logé dans un châssis composé d'une cellule centrale en aluminium, associé à des couples avant et arrière en acier. On doit la création de cette barquette originale à la Scuderia Marranello qui était basé en Belgique et qui n'en construisit vraisemblablement qu'une poignée. Le propriétaire de la voiture que nous présentons est un gentleman-driver belge. Etant pointilleux sur le fonctionnement de ses automobiles il a offert à cette MR400S une révision complète, en 2020, chez un spécialiste bruxellois de Ferrari : L'Officina Valenti. La distribution a été changée, les injecteurs et les deux débitmètres ont été remplacée, le circuit de carburant a été nettoyé, et le boitier de direction recentré (facture de près de 10 000 €). Notre collectionneur nous a confié qu'il avait été époustouflé par les performances de la voiture et que lors d'une sortie sur le circuit de Lurcy Levis, alors qu'une averse se déroulait, il tournait dans les mêmes temps que les Ferrari 430. Avec sa sonorité magique, cette auto est prête à offrir son lot de sensations à son nouveau propriétaire sur les plus beaux circuits, pour un coût fort raisonnable, par rapport aux performances offertes. Unregistered - Rare and powerful - A racing car with a V8 Ferrari Tipo F129C - Important recent mechanical work The car that we are offering is as rare as it is efficient. Indeed, it is powered by the fabulous V8 that is fitted in the Ferrari 355, developing around 400bhp. With a 5-speed gearbox, also from the 355, and probably weighing under a ton, this car is a real thrill-seeker. Longitudinally mounted, the 40-valve block is housed in a chassis consisting of an aluminum central cell, combined with steel front and rear frames. We owe the creation of this chassis to Scuderia Marranello, which was based in Belgium, and which probably built a handful only. The owner of the car on offer is a Belgian gentleman-driver. Being picky about the condition of his cars, he had this MR400S completely overhauled in 2020 at L'Officina Valenti, the Brussels Ferrari specialist. The distribution system was changed, the injectors and the two flowmeters were replaced, the fuel circuit was cleaned, and the steering box refocused (invoice of nearly €10,000). Our collector told us that he was blown away by the performance of the car and on the Lurcy Levis racetrack, during a rain shower, it was lapping in the Ferrari 430s. With its magical sound, this car is ready to offer its new owner its share of sensations on the most beautiful of circuits, for a very reasonable cost, in relation to the performance offered.
