Mythological figure group "Apollo and Daphne" by Meissen Apollo standing on a square, moulded base in a dynamic striding position, covered with a soft yellow, loosely draped cloth, about to embrace the fleeing Daphne, who is already partially transformed into a laurel tree. Daphne, with long, flowing, curly hair, has stretched her arms upwards. Polychrome painting with gold staffage.
