Captain Hoffmann to procure these animals and objects from the Rheede up the river at the earliest opportunity and to pass them on to your hands. I now most humbly request that you take care of them and kindly ask Mr Ohlent to give the animals the same care that he gave to the red parrot ..." - Fold marks, partly creased, 2 tears and 2 small losses with minor loss of letters.
