NAPOLEON IER (1769-1821). Letter signed "Bonaparte" addressed to the Consuls of the Republic Cambacérès and Lebrun. Novarre 12 prairial VIII [June 1, 1800]. 1 p. in-4, engraved vignette with the name of "Bonaparte Ier Consul de la République". The letter was written by Bourrienne. Framed. Napoleon I about an American ship: "Citizen Consuls, I have received your letters of the 4th and 5th. I greatly commend the decision you have taken regarding the American frigate; it could not have been a question. You will find enclosed the army bulletin [...]". Very fine signature.
