[NAPOLEON]. Letter signed "Napol" to Eugène de Beauharnais, viceroy of Italy, with an autograph sentence. Letter signed and dated Paris, 24 November 1810. In-4, 10 lines. One word ("blé") in his hand in the text, and the sentence "laissez la circulation libre entre la France et l'Italie" in his hand added at the end. Important order on the circulation of supplies: "My son, I cannot issue the decree prohibiting the exit of grain from the Kingdom of Italy to France. I am also interested in the circulation in the countries that are subject to me". In a small gilt frame. Fine signature. This letter was published in the Correspondance de Napoléon I (tome XXI, n° 17.160), according to the copy then kept by the duchess of Leuchtenberg; it was not noted that the last sentence was in Napoleon's hand.
