Partly mounted on tabs. A very important collection of archives and memorabilia relating to the funerals of Napoleon III and the Prince Imperial. A remarkable record of the impact of these events across the Channel, far beyond the confines of Bonapartist circles. The collection consists of the following items: - An issue of the London weekly The Graphic of 25 January 1873 (vol. VII, no. 165), devoted to the funeral of Napoleon III. - An issue of The Illustrated London News from 25 January 1873 (vol.
