The engravings depict battle scenes from the first Italian Campaign to Waterloo and Napoleon's exile in Saint Helena, featuring views of Italian cities such as Lodi, Milan, Venice, and Naples. The first five plates include 100 engraved portraits of Napoleonic generals and marshals, accompanied by biographical notes. Many plates are signed by Carle Vernet. Folio (483 x 335mm).
