As commander of the Apollo 16 mission from 16 to 27 April 1972, John W. Young was on his fourth space flight. As the ninth man to set foot on the Moon, he waved to his crewmate, Charles M. Duke Jr, who took his picture. Near the Lem, the lunar module piloted by Duke, Young planted an American flag.
All lots are priced inclusive of VAT. VAT, at the current rate of 20%, is included in the auction price. This VAT is recoverable by the French professional. It is reimbursable for buyers from outside the EU on presentation of proof of export from the EU or for professional bidders providing proof of a valid intra-Community number and a document proving delivery in the Member State.
