Extraordinarily large baroque blister pearl, designed as an asymmetrical pendant, the natural pearl has a fine luster of white, creamy to brownish-reddish colour, held in a setting with stylized wave motifs. The pearl setting and pendant loop are set with brilliant-cut diamonds totalling ca. 2.60 ct, on a byzantine chain, clasp set with diamonds of ca. 0.32 ct. Pearl size 49.33 x 26.98 x 17.29 mm. As far as we know, blister pearls of this size and quality hardly exist, except for the famous Hope pearl which weighs 1816 grains (454 ct).
