A rose gold sewing set consisting of a chisel and a thimble, 19th c., presented in an ivory case, the top inscribed with a monogram in blue, 7.5x5 cm, gross 8.4g Please note that Piguet is unable to assist buyers with the transportation of lots containing elephant ivory out of Switzerland. A buyer may not defer payment of the price of these lots, nor request cancellation of their sale, on the pretext that it would be impossible to export and/or import them from Switzerland. We have not found any gold hallmarks. This lot contains ivory. The ivory trade is regulated. Piguet therefore recommends that buyers inform themselves of the applicable regimes and requirements before taking any action in relation to the purchase or handling of an ivory object. Piguet will not apply on behalf of buyers for exemption certificates, CITES licences, registrations or other necessary documentation, including renewals or updates, and will not arrange import or export permits required for international shipments. The buyer's inability or delay in obtaining the necessary documents or in legally arranging the export or import of the consignment shall not justify cancellation of the sale or delay in payment.
