NEO-BABYLONIAN BRONZE PAZUZU HEAD PENDANT Ca. 800 - 600 BC. A cast bronze pendant in the form of Pazuzu's head with grotesquely modelled features, including wide open eyes, a wide, flattened nose, and an open mouth revealing bared teeth. The top tapers into a raised suspension loop, and the neck is elongated and decorated with shallow incised bands. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 116228.
