NEO BABYLONIAN STONE CYLINDER SEAL WITH MARDUK PRIESTS. Ca. 800 - 650 BC. A black stone seal of cylindrical form, pierced longitudinally. The uppermost section contains a procession of caprids in profile. Below, a row of crossed and angular elements fills the space. The lower section presents a row of stylised human heads in frontal view. A narrow groove encircles the cylinder, dividing the composition into two sections.
