NEOCLASSICAL BRONZE FIGURINE OF A BULL.
Ca. AD 1900 or earlier. A freestanding bronze figurine of a bull, naturalistically rendered. Depicted in a slightly tilted pose, it turns its head to one side. A robust, muscular body is accentuated by a raised left front leg, a tucked tail, and detailed hooves and dewlap. Anatomical details include visible muscles and ribs. A well-defined snout, open nostrils, slightly parted mouth, and forward-facing eyes characterise the head. The curved horns frame the head, and the ears are positioned prominently.
