NEOLITHIC STONE PICKAXE HEAD Ca. 8000 - 6000 BC . A pickaxe head carved from a dense stone, with light surface mottling. The body is symmetrical and elongated, tapering to rounded points at both ends. The sides are slightly flattened, and the midpoint of the tool is thickest, forming a subtle median ridge. Size: 465mm x 110mm; Weight: 5.91kg Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
