Two very rare pieces in the collection are attributed to Nerval, then aged eighteen. Pichois included them in the Pléiade, but a doubt remains: Complainte sur la mort de haut et puissant seigneur le Droit d'aînesse, déconfit au Luxembourg, Faubourg S.-Germain, et enterré dans toute la France, en l'an de grâce 1826 (...) par Cadet Roussel et une société de publicistes, jurisconsultes, et gens de lettres. (32 pp.) Serait le premier livre de Nerval. Monsieur Dentscourt, ou le Cuisinier d'un grand homme, tableau politique, à propos de lentilles. By M. Beuglant, poet, friend of Cadet-Roussel, author of the famous lament on the death of the Droit d'aînesse.
