Ivory netsuke depicting a courtesan and her kamuro (young servant and apprentice) standing side by side, the former raising her kimono slightly with one hand, the latter carrying a box wrapped in a furoshiki with both hands, their clothes covered with decorative motifs, signed Homin 宝民 on the back (obi) of the kamuro. The bun is missing.
