Rare revolutionary plate with contoured rim and polychrome decoration, in the centre, of a tent surrounded by two small sentry boxes evoking the Fête de la Fédération. Hemmed braid around the edge and green fillet.

Note: one can imagine that these are the tents that had been erected opposite the royal tribune, on the other side of the Champ de Mars.
