Provenance: Paul Yeou Chichong Collection New York, Sotheby's, 14-21 October 2022, lot 71 (as after Nicolas Poussin) The painting is a copy of Nicolas Poussin's Adoration of the Magi, signed and dated 1633, belonging to the Gemäldegalerie, Dresden. Other similar large derivations are known to be in the Louvre Museum (inv. no. 7278), Grenoble Museum (inv. no. MG 201) and the Dulwich Picture Gallery (inv. no. DPG227).
