NIGERIA. Set of four terracotta sculptures, accompanied by their thermoluminescence tests (ASA laboratory, dated 1999 and 2002), comprising : - A Sokoto bust, the hands resting on the hips. Hands on the arms of the main figure, indicating that a second figure must originally have been standing behind his back. (Damage, missing parts, restorations). Height Height: 31.5 cm - A Nok statue, shown seated, arms crossed on her knees. (Damage, missing parts, restorations, in particular the head glued back together).
