Eloundja" primitive iron coin in the shape of a gong.
This type of gong is made by the excellent Nkutshu and Jonga blacksmiths, and the decoration on the base is reminiscent of the body tattoos of the men in the ethnic groups. Before being used as currency, it was used in the rituals of secret male societies.
