An Indian Kashmiri Mughal Gilt and Enamelled Ewer, 19th Century.
A Mughal Kashmir ewer, featuring a bulbous base tapering into a cylindrical body with a flared rim. The surface is richly adorned with intricate floral and geometric patterns in deep blue, turquoise, and gold enamelling. The spout extends gracefully with pierced detailing, while the handle curves elegantly, ending in a stylized dragon head motif. The body is encircled by floral arabesques and lattice-like panels, meticulously arranged in symmetrical sections.
