First edition. The author celebrates his Auvergne, Christian, Mediterranean and Latin roots. A famous historian, Nolhac was also a Parnassian of the Romanesque school, praised by his peers. A fine impression by Darantiere of 400 copies on vellum watermarked with Nolhac's name, this one enriched with a letter from the poet to the Italian antiquarian bookseller Tammaro de Marinis.
