BRONZE OENOCHOE Roman art, 1st century AD Beautiful oenochoe with a pyriform body, resting on a pedestal, cylindrical neck ending in a horseshoe mouthpiece. The handle is topped with a horse protome and is attached to the body by a Medusa head. Silver inlays on the horse's eyes and neck and on Medusa's eyes.
