First class knight's plaque model 1778, eight-pointed cross in gold and green sequins and cannetille embroidery, central cross in vermeil engraved with the motto of the order "ATAVIS ARMIS" between the monograms SL and MA, suspension straps with silver thread points, lining in fine white leather. Diameter: 135 mm. A small plaque of the 1778 model with a green metal leaf background and missing central cross, diam. 60 mm, is attached. Late 18th century. FAIR CONDITION
