ORFÈVRE Jules COQUELIN (1838-1845) Toiletries set in rosewood with brass and mother-of-pearl marquetry. It opens onto a set of glass bottles and boxes with cut sides and 950 thousandths silver mounts with guilloché decoration. The sewing and manicure set has probably been brought in. H. 14 x W. 30 x D. 21 cm. (The lid is cracked, the mother-of-pearl is missing, and there are minor knocks and wear and tear.) Note: Jules Coquelin was a goldsmith and upholsterer working in Paris from 1830 to 1845.
