OSIRIS IN BRONZE Egyptian art, Late Period or Ptolemaic, 664-30 BC Statuette of the mummiform god, standing, body moulded in its shroud, hands clasped over an unidentifiable attribute. He wears a false beard and the atef crown, made up of the white mitre of Upper Egypt (hedjet) edged with ostrich feathers. One feather is missing. Green patina.
