PAIR OF BALUSTER VASES WITH BRONZE MOUNTS
Napoléon III, Paris c. 1860, signed P. Sormani Paris (Paul Sormani, 1817-1877)
Chiselled, gilt bronze and "Vert de Mer" marble. Urn-shaped vase body with twisted fluting on a trumpet foot and on a stepped, gilded base with pearl pattern and reserves. Curved side handles with chimeras. Domed lid with pomegranate finial.
H 52 cm.
Good condition. Minimal edge chips to the marble.
