Pair of figure groups as garland winder counterparts. On a rectangular, bevelled, profiled base, heightened, fluted terrain base covered with sculptural leaves and grass clumps. Seated and standing putto on top, a garland of flowers in relief winding around a baluster vase. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Designed by Johann Jacob Louis, c. 1768-1772, partially chipped; minimal residue; maker's mark. H. 16.5 cm - 18 cm.
