Baluster-shaped body on a raised round base, slightly recessed in the centre, surrounded by a ribbon bow in relief. Large, sculpted rams' heads on the sides. Open-worked lid, finely sculpted rose blossom finial in the centre. Scenic depiction of a rococo society in a tree-lined park landscape after Antoine Watteau on the front. Magnificent flower bouquets on the back. Polychrome painting. Surrounding gold ornamental borders and rich gold decoration. Partially restored; minor wear; sceptre mark. H. 66 cm.
