Pair of large show plates in the style of Veuve Perrin counterparts. Earthenware. Oval, moulded, curved shape with moulded rim and leaf-relief flag. Rich, polychrome overglaze decoration. The centre with multi-figure scenic depictions of a rural wedding and the arrival of a courtly couple in a harbour town; the banner with flower bouquets and scattered flowers, edged in gold. One plate damaged; marked "VP" in ligature. W. 47.2 cm.
