A pair of Louis XVI vases with pastoral scenes by Meissen On a square base with an oval body and narrow, cylindrical neck, surrounded by oak leaves in relief and a pearl band. Leaf-relief handles on the sides of the shoulder. Idyllic, tree-lined pastoral scenes on both sides of the wall. Shepherd and shepherdess or farmers resting with their goats, sheep, cows and oxen. Fine polychrome painting with gold decoration. Model no. E 6, rest; minimally dam.; crossed swords mark. H. 21,5 cm. A pair of Louis XVI porcelain vases with finely painted pastoral shepherd scenes.
