Pair of splendid Meissen bottle vases with sculptural overlay Spherical body above the round base, merging into a narrow narrow neck. Recessed, bell-shaped lid with flower crowning. All sides of the wall densely decorated in relief with climbing leaves and their large flowers as well as fruit and fruit surrounded by flying insects. Polychrome painting with gold decoration. Unw. rest./best.; crossed swords mark. Total h. 48 cm. All sculptural decoration freely modelled. As early as 1733, Kaendler's work report refers to "Belege mit Japanischen Blümgen".
