Original title Ceramic (faience), 1954, baluster-shaped, thick-walled, twisted jug with a flat base, conical neck, short, elongated spout and strong eared handle. Light, slightly cream-coloured body, white pewter glaze. The sides are decorated with two stylised vases, executed in a wax recess technique and incised, painted in black, blue and yellow. Brush mark on the base with numbering "EDITION PICASSO 37/500 MADOURA", also impressed marks "EDITION PICASSO" and "MADOURA PLEIN FEU", no. "3" painted in yellow. H. 29.5 cm.
