PAIR OF ANATOLIAN BRONZE FIGURINES Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A pair of schematic bronze idols. The one on the left has a long, oval head with engraved features, a prominent chin, and a vertical crest with a central perforation. His body is flat and elongated, with narrow shoulders and short legs. The one on the right is more compact, with a rounded head, minimal features, a flattened torso, and short, tapering legs. Size: 48.3mm x 56.1mm; Weight: 26.07g Provenance: Private UK collection; previously acquired on the Holland art market in the 1990s.
