PAIR OF CANAANITE BRONZE AXES.
Ca. 1700 - 1500 BC.
A pair of cast bronze socketed axes. Each has a long, narrow blade that broadens slightly towards a squared cutting edge. The rear forms a thick collared socket with small lateral spurs and pronounced ridges.
