PAIR OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE EARRINGS. Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A matched pair of earrings, each consists of a trapezoid-shaped upper panel formed by faience beads in a stacked arrangement, bordered by thin metal wires. The beads display a variety of hues, including turquoise, beige, cream, and terracotta. Below the panels, five vertical chains are suspended, each composed of alternating cylindrical faience beads and metal loops. The chains terminate with additional annular beads attached via metal circular links. The earrings are completed with hook fittings.
