PAIR OF EGYPTIAN STONE SCARABS. Ca. 2055 - 1069 BC. A pair of scarabs in black stone and glazed steatite of ovoid form with naturalistic features. The first is polished and the second has engraved the Ossyrinco fish. A suspension hole is drilled lengthwise through the body, for mounting on a necklace or a swivel ring.
