PAIR OF INDUS VALLEY VESSEL DEPICTING ANIMALS Ca. 2500 - 2000 BC. A pair of globular pottery vessels, each painted in black over reddish slip. The one on the left is decorated with two bulls shown in profile, each with a patterned body and arched tail, surrounded by concentric bands and geometric motifs. The other displays three large stylised birds with radiating crests and hatched wings, alternating with vertical bars.
