PAIR OF ROMAN BRONZE AND GLASS STIRRING RODS.

A pair of stirring rods, including, from top to bottom: a bronze rod of circular section with a small spatulate terminal at one end and a tapered point at the other; and a pale green translucent glass rod of round section with a disc finial.

Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired from a Belgian collection (1980s-1990s).
