PAIR OF ROMAN INLAID BROOCHES Ca. AD 150 - 250 A pair of enamelled bronze fibulae. One fibula is designed in the shape of a frog, with detailed features including bulging eyes and a textured body, complemented by a central back panel adorned with green and red inlay. The second fibula is shaped like a fly, with outstretched wings that feature three recesses filled with red and blue inlays. Each fibula is equipped with a catch plate and a pin on the back for fastening. Size: 26-37mm x 18-22mm; Weight: 20g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
