PAIR OF XENON WARE VESSELS Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A pair of miniature black-glazed pottery vessels. The oinochoe has a trefoil lip, a side handle, a ring base, and is adorned with a central palmette motif flanked by double-ended scrolls. The olpe features a tapering body, a short neck with a flat everted rim, a loop handle, and is decorated with strokes around the shoulder and a central band of laurel leaves.
