PAIR OF SCONCES WITH ANGELS IN ACANTHUS FOLIAGE, BY PIERRE CHIBOUT, LATE EMPIRE PERIOD
in chased and gilded bronze. They are depicted with a headband in their curly hair, wings erect, arms raised carrying a lanceolate corolla from which five arms of light emerge, four of which are foliate cornucopias and one in the centre is a quiver, also foliate.
