PAIR OF ITALIAN CABINETS FROM THE FIRST HALF OF THE 18th CENTURY Probably Piedmontese work In European varnish with gold chinoiserie decoration on a brown background, the front opening onto a sliding shelf forming a duster holder and a door revealing an interior with two shelves, resting on a plinth with an openwork cut-out; very slight difference in size. H.142.5 and 143.5 cm (56 and 56 ½ in.) l.77 and 76 cm (30 ¼ and 30 in.) P.46 cm (18 in.) Provenance : Acquired from Galerie Moufflet, Nice, 23 December 1994 ; Then by descent to the current owner.
