A pair of carved Maurin green marble cassolettes mounted in chased and gilded bronze with two openwork handles decorated with horned bearded faun heads. They stand on circular pedestals with square bases and are topped with Maurin green marble lids with pine-cone fretelle. 19th century Total height: 32 cm each (some chips on the base of the lids, one interior damaged)
