Pair of moulded and carved beech chairs, stuccoed and gilded. The backs are embellished with a lyre and carved with friezes of pearls, ovals and tracery. The uprights feature friezes of crossed and pearled interlacing topped with open pomegranates. The horseshoe-shaped seat with frieze rests on four tapered and fluted legs. The seats are upholstered in cotton with pink silk stripes. Louis XVI style - Late 19th century Height: 86 cm each (some very minor damage)
