The House of Jeanselme was an important dynasty of cabinet-makers based in Paris, producing furniture for over a hundred years, from 1824 to 1930. In 1847, they took over the Jacob family workshop, enhancing their reputation. They were one of the main suppliers to the Garde-meuble under Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III.
